This Shinshu miso, made by Marukome, is certified by the NPO Japan Halal Association. It is a halal-certified miso that Muslim believers can eat with peace of mind. Made only with organic soybeans, domestic rice, and salt, it is a light-colored, strained miso with a refreshing and mild flavor.

Main uses: Miso soup, mackerel simmered in miso, stir-fried vegetables, marinating meat and fish, a secret ingredient in dressings, and more.
