"Family Miso" was born from the desire to "recreate the homemade flavors of old for today, and to have everyone gather around the table and enjoy delicious miso with a smile." This is a naturally brewed blended miso, made using only ingredients from Kyushu (soybeans, rice, barley), and aged and fermented in cedar barrels for over a year. No additives other than the ingredients themselves (such as alcohol) are added, so the microorganisms are alive. It is characterized by a fragrant, slightly sweet, rich flavor. Because it has a strong umami, you can make delicious miso soup even without dashi.
