"Family Miso" was born from the desire to recreate the taste of each family's homemade miso from the past, and to have everyone gather around the table and enjoy delicious miso with a smile. This naturally brewed blended miso uses only ingredients from Kyushu (soybeans, rice, barley) and is aged and fermented in cedar barrels for over a year. No additives other than the ingredients (such as alcohol) are used, so the microorganisms are still alive. It is characterized by its fragrant, slightly sweet, and rich flavor. Because of its strong umami, it makes a delicious miso soup even without dashi.
