"Kazoku no Miso" (Family Miso) was born from the desire to "recreate the homemade, unique flavors of the past in each family's kitchen today, and to have everyone gather around the table and enjoy delicious miso with a smile." This is a naturally brewed mixed miso made entirely from Kyushu-grown ingredients (soybeans, rice, barley), aged and fermented in cedar barrels for over a year. No additives other than the ingredients (such as alcohol) are used, so the microorganisms are still active. It features a fragrant, slightly sweet, rich flavor. With its strong umami, it makes a delicious miso soup even without dashi.
